There is a lack of diversity in broadcast ownership and entrepreneurship particularly in
black owned tv networks serving content for urban inspirational, informative and
uplifting lifestyles. Over a decade ago, community advocates Bishop Wayne T. & Dr.
Beverly Y. Jackson sought out to create a broadcast vision that would give viewers
consciously aware content while bridging hope, practical everyday life principles and
foundations to impact the lives of viewers for the better in educational and entertaining
ways
